i love home-cooked food

Yeah, mum cooked pasta and portobello mushrooms for lunch. Simple but delicious. Yummy! Tonight dad will be cooking seafood.... ((: He bought 4 crabs, one for each of us hahaha!! There's no better way to enjoy white wine. Heh, are you jealous?

So, last night i met the SSR race mgt team to discuss the final details. I hope everything goes according to plan. We must take care of the little things first in order to get the big thing right. (: Everytime i talk to uncle hong kit, i always gain insight into his work ethic and the principles that he lives by. He has a wealth of experience in race mgt and a most valuable asset to the sailing fraternity. I enjoy talking to him although there are instances where he gets frustrated and starts to show it. Heh. But that's nothing new to me. After yesterdays meeting, I also learnt of the constraints of keelboat racing in s'pore. Soon, we might not have anymore keelboat competitions in s'pore because of the lack of support and understanding from the higher-ups. Such is the stark reality of life. And i understand his frustrations because he spends time and effort to see things through. So yup.

In life, ability and hard work will get you somewhere, but not necessarily to the top. Credibility is also quite important. But to ensure that you can get to the top for sure, timing and opportunity and knowing the right people counts. Sad, but true. Another way of life.

I hate to be caught in between. Don't understand why some people cannot be more understanding.
