sick and tired
I'm literally experiencing both of the above symptoms.(no pun intended) Sick probably because of the stupid weather and a bug going round....and tired from all the marking during the past week. My nose is so stuffed up that I can hardly breathe. Oh well...school term is coming to an end..another 3 more weeks....sigh How I wish it would just end now. Baah.... Alright...that's the end of a very short post. Gotta go try and have a good sleep. Yeah right...with my stuffed nose...
Hmnz...such a coincidence. When I happen to have the urge to blog, it screws up. And I have to wait. and wait. Sigh.
Anyway, am marking compostions now. Can't sleep. Must be all the caffeine I ingested during the day....from 2 cups of tea. Hmph. The past 3 days have been fun...just chilling out in the staff loungs and watching dvds and pigging out. Haha...life's good. Just crapping most of the time...we were so bored that we decided to jog today. Haha...ah hah. It must be the jog too. Haven't worked out in a long time...so probably its the energy exuded from all the workout??!! Anyway...have no idea...alright, have to get back to compos now. Or else i will never finish marking them. Sigh.

On another sad note, a short chat with my kid(BQ) today revealed some disturbing things. It all started when I asked him whether he was feeling alright and whether he wanted to go home. He looked sick... so I felt his forehead and it felt quite warm...but not hot. So I double-checked to see whether he was alright. Again he insisted he was ok. At recess, I made him stay back on his own to do his work but without my supervision. A concerned classmate(G) came up to tell me that his forehead was hot so I said I knew and asked him to go back down and check with BQ again. After recess, he didn't look any better. So I probed again, and he insisted on not going home. Now, earlier on, G told me that he overheard BQ's father calling his son "useless" in mandarin. I didn't belive it...so I asked BQ "Is it because of your dad?" Then he nodded his head. Then I probed further, asking him what exactly did he say. He said, "My father said I was useless, because I always fall sick." I was like
#@*%$#*#@!! I was thinking to myself, what kind of father was that??!! And I had to keep a straight face. So I asked him to rest in class. Now, during PE, the PE teacher came to inform me that BQ was running a high fever. So I had no choice but to send him to the GO cos couldn't contact his parents. This time, he was really burning up. Thank goodness there was an icepack. His lips were dry and chapped too...He was a pretty sad sight.... :(
I'm pretty worried for my students, seems that there's a nasty bug going round the class. Already at least 6-7 students are down/recovering from their fever and flu and all sorts of ailments.
Oh God, I pray that those who are sick will recover quickly, and that you will protect the others from falling sick as well. Lord, I pray also for BQ, that you will impart wisdom to his dad, to soften his heart and to heal the hurt upon BQ. Thank you Lord. Amen.

I hate the feeling of helplessness.
I hate it when my dad blows up cos it just dampens everyone's mood in the hse. "Sorry" dosen't heal the hurt you've already caused the whole family. Its not an eraser! You don't realise your words cut like a knife. Sigh...
Sigh...quarrels are always never a good thing to experience... :(
Oh God.... please help me heal the hurt that are in my parents' hearts....and my whole family. You are the Almighty God and everything can be done in Christ who strengthens me... :) Amen.

Woohoo~!! England beat Wales 2-0!!! And one of the goals was from Beckham, with his trademark pinpoint curled/curve ball from the edge of the box into the top right hand corner. That was simply marvelous.

Boohoo~! David Yeo got voted off S'pore idol last night. :( So sad....Don't understand why that Jerry is still in the competition...with his constipated singing... Well... Don't really like Sylvester Sim though.... Probably root for Taufik now....though i think he won't really go far.
Next week'll be a stressful week...:(
Breaking news?
Haha...juz came back from a movie with H juz now... White Chicks!! Hehe....its a hilarious movie! You sholud go catch it if you want to destress or just simply have a good laugh. You will be highly entertained. Haven't met her in a loooong time....but think our next meet up will be somewhere along the lines of november...sigh. Anyway...that's not the news.
Yep....the news is that I will most probably teaching pri 2 kids next year!! Yippee! Can't wait! I mean I wasn't expecting a class in the morning session but I guess God answers our deepest desires. Amen. Think Pri 1 & 2 kids are simply cute and adorable... :) Oh well...gotta get thru these few weeks first. :/
Oh ya...saw 2 eye candies this morning on the way to school! Gosh...can't believe my luck! Heh...one was on the bus, the other one was walking towards the bustop I got off at. And both were well built and tanned! Wagaga... Alright. End of story. Ciaoz.
Phew! Just finished vacuuming and mopping the floor! So happy! Quite liberating though... The floor was so dirty....didn't have time during the whole week to clean the floor. The floor feels so squeaky clean now. What has been a twice weekly affair has been reduced to a weekly affair....sigh.
On another note....beginning to feel rather stressful... Its already week 4 of the school term and oral and compsotion tests are next week. One and a half weeks after that and exams are here. Not much time left. And I have to mark and return compos by the end of this week! ARGH!!! Someone help me! I can pay you to help me mark... :)
On another note... felt very sad that the Singapore flag was burnt by Taiwanese protestors in Taiwan... It feels almost weird reading about your own country's flag being burnt because we read about other country's flag being burnt every other day....and we thought it would never happen to us as we are politically stable. Anyway...feel that the Taiwanese are over reacting...I mean they can feel the way they feel but not express their opinions by burning another country's flag! This is not gonna be an easy ride... :(
