misunderstood

I hate it when you assume something and make a quick accusation. Argh.

torino

Have been watching the winter olympics on tv...quite cool...cos they are competing in events which are designed only for the winter olympics. Yeah...there's this event called the "biathlon", but its unlike the normal biathlon. In winter, its actually a 4 person relay, interspersed with shooting at targets in between. Haha...it was quite fun to watch.

Anyway, my nose is stuck. I think its gonna drop off soon. Something really made it itch this afternoon, but I have no idea what. Sigh. Looks like I won't have a good sleep tonight.

I just switched on the radio on class 95, expecting to hear love songs, but it was playing some instrumental pieces. Rather relaxing, but very different, so much so that I checked whether I was tuned in to the correct channel. However, it was class 95, just that as a mark of respect for the late S. Rajaratnam, they were interrupting normal programming till 11.30. He must have been a very respected man huh?

idol in our midst?

Hmn...yea... never knew that he's multi-talented, even though I knew him to be quite a prolific dancer. An ex-classmate of mine, joined the Superband contest and is through to top 18. Apparently, he took part in Singapore Idol last year too. Oh well, for those of you who have been watching the trailers on Ch U, you would have seen the group which featured most of the time, G-force. Well, let's see how far they can make it. :)

randomness

Sigh...there is no end in sight to the many assignments. Bah... and the supposed 1 week break next week is in no way a break at all. So much for that ya? Whatever...a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do. Heh.

Btw, have you noticed the recent spate of murders and attempted murders ? Yea...don't know what's wrong with people nowadays.

Met up with Tania today before she leaves for aussie tomorrow. Time really flies.

I was a bunch of nerves today. Don't know why. But I'm glad its over and done with. Now, to find my narrative on smoking. Hope the book is a suitable one.*crosses fingers*

Hmnz... so, my bro will not be taking the Os...a big risk, but a calculated and necessary one. Oh well, hope all goes well with what he has decided.

Yay!! new car's coming tomorrow! So excited. :)

Yeah, I know it has been a very disconnected post. But heck, I do not really care. Just shows my mood huh? Have a great weekend ahead friends.

The most commonly asked question.

Are you still sailing? Why did you stop sailing? Continue sailing lah....

I'm getting quite tired of people asking me that question... have to repeat myself over and over again... and the funny thing is, the question was asked no less than 5 times....all in the span of 2 days! Its a sign man.... a higher power is asking me to go back to sailing. Moreover, Mr Yong(VJ teacher) saw me today and spoke to me....and I must say, his powers of persuasion is quite strong. Hahaha...sigh. I really don't know whether I should. Oh well, its food for thought.

But really, why did I stop sailing? Its probably due to a number of reasons, but I think the main one was that I was tired of competitive sailing. But anyways, shall not ramble on further. We'll see how it goes.

On another note, my bro is thinking twice about taking the 'O's. Shall wait to see what the sports director has to say.

What lies beneath?

We put on smiley faces from time to time. Sometimes, we do that to hide our discomfort, we do that also to make ourselves feel happy, also to hide our insecurities. Of course, we smile because we are genuinely happy. But how often does that happen? On the surface, everything seems so perfect, but are things really that way?

Sigh, the sad truth is...every family has its own problems...and we try to hide it with all that we can. It happened before, it might happen again. And, as usual, I'm bearing the brunt of it. Just hope it'll all go away soon.

Right now, its back to the books.
