Its such an irony for Ferrari. Both their drivers are sitting at the back of the grid after a disastrous qualifying for the team. Muahaha... Actually, it wasn't disastrous at all for Schumi(he didn't crash out), instead, he was stripped of his pole position because of his "antics" in the last minute of qualifying. Anyway... I don't really care as long as Kimi comes out tops this time. Go Kimi! :)
Its in human nature to take it out on others when we are in a bad mood right? So can you imagine the poor innocent person who gets berated at for nothing? Sigh.... I really don't know who's side to be on. Only thing is, I understand how you feel, but it was so not right of you to say the things you said and do the things you did. Urgh. Gosh. I really dunooe what to say to both of you.

rules of engagement
Just watched the movie. Enjoyed it very much. Anyway, got my phone back. Thankfully, they did not have to erase the data on the phone. Woohoo!I really should stop falling into temptation.

nong nong ago
Haha...The auditions of Singapore Idol 2 were hilarious. And what's up with the kungfu rapper man?Darn, I'm feeling handicapped now, my phone is at the 'hospital' getting repaired. Yeah, the phone dropped onto the floor while it was vibrating and the screen went blank. Urgh. This is the second time I had to send it to the shop to get it repaired. The other time was last Dec when the camera function went cuckoo. Think I should not stick to Nokia phones anymore. The most idiotic thing is, because the screen went blank, I can't retrieve my contacts from the phone!!! Hmph. I'm still sore about that. Someone should make a SIM card with unlimited storage space for contacts man. Its such a hassle!!
Anyway, someone should put the bottle of gin out of my reach cos I can't stop. Help.

blessed
Yes...mum's back. Now, my dad's all alone in Guangzhou, visiting my grandfather's sister's family... Yepyep, so glad my mum's back!! At she restores some of the homely atmosphere...haha.Went to TJC's band concert yesterday, and I quite enjoyed myself. Especially the 2 special items by the percussion ensemble and the stage band. Voiceover was hilarious...:)
So, I gained lots today. Learning new things everyday....and its such a nice feeling to know you are being watched over all the time. Heh.

typhoon chanchu
Thankfully, it didn't affect the place where my parents are now at. Phew. My parents are now in Guangzhou, so was a bit worried for them, but it appears now that my fears were unfounded. Mum will be back in 2 days! Yay... bro will be back tomorrow evening... double yayness!Just talked to my bro on the phone, seems that he's coughing quite badly and had to visit the doc yesterday. Sigh, it must be the post germany and perak trip tiredness...that has taken its toll on him. Hope he gets well soon.
So, the past few days have been quite eventful, up till the point that I was conked out by bedtime.
Today was spent slacking at home. Sigh, gotta clean the floor tomorrow.

errands
Yeah...I ran errands today. Went to many places.... first to tanjong pagar to collect a stoopid placard(which wasn't even really a placard), then decided to be a nice person and check out borders for a map of guangzhou(which they didn't have). Then met up with dad, decided to go to taka to check kino(which they had, but unfortunately, was in chinese), so after that went to Central to have lunch. Dad was impressed with the food. :) Enjoyed it so much.... after that walked around heeren for a while before making my way down to marina square to collect my specs! Yup, made a pair of new specs cos eyesight deteriorated....wasn't really a surprise cos I haven't been to an optician in like 2 years? Sigh... So anyway, things are so much clearer now! Its a world of difference... :) So happy...Wednesday, May 10, 2006
And so, another General Election has passed. No real surprises at the results though. However, I had fun listening to the satirical podcasts by the mrbrown show and the now-famous bakchormee episode. Which was hilariously funny. Heh...
Finally, I'm going to take the ppcdl course this weekend at safyc...after sitting on it for so long. But, everything has fallen in place quite nicely, so I've no complaints about it. I really do hope I do not maluate myself...haha. From my preliminary observations, I think I'm the only female attending the course. I might be wrong, but we'll see. :)
Have been doing lots of reading. Borrowing books from the library is the number-one priority on the to-do list this hols. Of course, what else but fiction. :) If I have one book to recommend, it would have to be The Kite Runner by Khaled Hoseini. It is a great book by a first-time author, digs deep into your emotions and you just can't wait to flip the pages. Also, I have just read Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Now, please do not ask me why I took so long to pick up the book to read... but I enjoyed reading it all the same. Its a refreshing book, yet it gives me insight to how autistic children think. Its quite a well-crafted story for someone who works with autistic individuals.
Oh yeah, I"ll be home alone from the 15th till 20th May... so anyone is welcome to keep me entertained those few days. We can turn the whole house upside-down. :P Alright, back to reading!

rambles
Oh yeah, my bro is back from Germany!! And the scenery there is soooo nice!!! I wanna go too! :( But nevermind, cos he bought back some fantastic gingerbread cinnamon cookies. Haha, they taste really good and worth the price. Erm, you won't want to know how much it cost. If I feel up to it, I might post up some pics from his trip. So, the hols have begun, and so far, have spent the time doing things I love(at the minimal cost). Those include swimming, reading books borrowed from the library, and of course, entertaining myself with the help of the TV. Which brings me to the next point.
I was watching Superband just now, and I must say, I was really impressed. Some even sent chills up my spine... especially the acapella group Juz B. They make it look so effortless, especially when the group is made up of guys whose mother tongue is not Chinese! Yup, they sing mandarin songs! Gosh....they really blew me away. Other bands which impressed me were Qinobe, Soul, Brods, J3 and a couple of others. There's so much talent there its so hard to pick one favourite. Seriously, watching their performances made me feel 'high'.... Its like after that, they leave you clamouring for more. Wow. Can't wait to watch next week's performances.
Oh yeah, I actually wanted to blog about this some time back, but I forgot. I have a tutor who reminded me of Mr Bean when I saw him in school the other day. It was raining and cold, so he was in a jacket. Now, I almost burst out laughing when I saw that the elbow area of the jacket was patched with dark brown cloth! Lol....at that moment, he reminded me so much of Mr Bean. The fact that he wore socks with sandals didn't help matters much either. Hahaha... don't know what's up with caucasian professors and their penchant for socks and sandals.
I'm sorry I ever said the words I said. I would gladly take them back to have things go back to the way they used to be. When will this ever end? Will things ever improve?
I want to go away.
